OPENING HOURS
The festival will be open 6-11pm Friday 10th, 12-11pm on Saturday 11th. Comedians will be on stage at 7.45pm on Friday and we will have music beforehand. On Saturday music starts at 1.30pm.
SEATING
The event will be a mix of under cover in a marquee and outdoor space. Be prepared for our changeable weather and bring a spare layer. The Friday night comedy is fully seated. There are chairs and some tables available on other days.
CANCELLATION
The event will go ahead in the rain. For other unforeseen circumstances we will postpone the event, see terms.
FOOD
A variety of vendors will be offering food at the event site.
SMOKING & VAPING
Neither smoking nor vaping is allowed in the marquee or on the main site (grass), but a nearby smokers area will be provided. Please use the bins for cigarette butts.
DRINKS
As well as a selection of beer and cider, there will be a small range of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Festival cask ale and cider costs £5.00 per pint with halves for £2.50. Craft beer will cost £6 per pint, £3 per half pint and £4 for two-thirds. We will operate a cashless/token bar. Savings on advance tokens and entry are available.
ENTRY
Tickets for the Friday Comedy Night are £22 in advance with a small booking fee. Note this event is limited to 420 guests and usually sells out in advance. Entry on Saturday is from £18, with limited tickets available, to cover the bands and beer glass but check out our advance ticket offers.
The festival is not-for-profit and any profits will go to charity or funding and growing further Berkhamsted beer, music and comedy festivals.
DISABLED FACILITIES
The beer festival will be at the Kitcheners Field. There is wheelchair access and a disabled toilet.
DOGS AND CHILDREN
Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed. The comedy material is adult in nature so not suitable for children. Due to limited space this year, children are not allowed in the marquee or on-site after 5pm.
CAR PARKING
Parking is restricted to performers and disabled. There is nearby parking in the Railway Station. Please use public transport if you intend to drink alcohol; the event is just 10 minutes walk from the station and 500 bus stop.
