OPENING HOURS
The festival will be open 6-11pm on Friday 13th September and 12-11pm on Saturday 14th September 2024. Comedians will be on stage from 7.30pm on Friday but we will have music beforehand. Music will start from 1pm on Saturday.
SEATING
The event will be under cover in a marquee. Be prepared for our changeable autumn weather and bring a spare layer.
The Friday night comedy is fully seated. There are some chairs and tables available on the Saturday.
CANCELLATION
The event will go ahead in the rain. For other unforeseen circumstances we will postpone the event, see terms.
FOOD
A variety of vendors will be offering food at the Cricket Club.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in the marquee or club house, but there is outdoor space. Please use the bins for cigarette butts.
DRINKS
As well as a selection of beer and cider, the Cricket Club bar will be open offering a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Festival cask ale and cider costs £4.00 per pint with halves for £2.00. Craft beer will cost £6 per pint and £3 per half pint and £4 for two-thirds. We will operate a cashless/token bar. Savings on advance tokens and entry are available.
ENTRY
Tickets for the Friday Comedy Night are £16.50 in advance with a small booking fee. Note this event is limited to 300 guests and usually sells out in advance. Entry on Saturday is £10, with limited tickets available, to cover the bands and beer glass but check out our advance ticket offers.
The festival is not-for-profit and any profits will go to charity or funding and growing further Berkhamsted beer, music and comedy festivals.
DISABLED FACILITIES
The beer festival will be at the Berkhamsted Cricket Club. There is wheelchair access and a disabled toilet.
DOGS AND CHILDREN
Well behaved dogs on leads and supervised children are allowed at the Cricket Club. The comedy material is adult in nature so not suitable for children. Due to limited space, pushchairs will not be allowed in the marquee or club house. However, we will provide a gazebo buggy park. The Saturday music can be loud for both children or dogs. Please be aware of this for four legged friends and bring ear defenders for children.
CAR PARKING
There is nearby parking in the Railway Station. Please use public transport if you intend to drink alcohol; the Cricket Club is just 5 minutes walk from the station.
