Omid Djalili

Omid Djalili is a British comedian, actor, and writer of Iranian descent. Omid shot to fame after the 1995 Edinburgh Fringe. Known for smart, culturally savvy stand-up, he starred in BBC One’s The Omid Djalili Show and has appeared in many films including Gladiator, The Mummy, Pirates of the Caribbean, Notting Hill and as the voice of Tiger in Over The Hedge. 

James Alderson

Funny man James Alderson will be our compere for the evening. Those of you who have attended our previous comedy nights will be familiar with James' antics. He's not afraid to say what he thinks but always makes the audience (especially the front row) feel welcome.

Laura Lexx

West country born comedian, author, improvisor and actor Laura Lexx is vivacious, impassioned, smart and one of the best female comedians currently performing. As seen on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Roast Battle, Celebrity Mastermind and Hypothetical.

The Shane Lamont Trio

Local musicians Shane Lamont, Adam Dalby and Rob aka Little Big Man will keep us entertained before the comedy with their energetic and quirky covers of singalong classics. Tunes ranging from the Laurel Canyon through to 90s indie rock.

Peter Brush

A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes. Peter performs at the major clubs and festivals across the UK, as well as having performed shows in Switzerland, Norway and Hungary. A BBC New Comedy Award finalist that has written for several BBC Radio 4 shows.

Programme

The bar opens at 6pm with last orders at 10.30pm.

The comedy starts at 7.45pm, and we have early music from Shane Lamont at 6.30pm.

This is  a covered event with seating. Arrive early to secure the best seats.

Food vendors will be available for pre-show dinner.
