Berkhamsted Beer Festival -
A Celebration of the Chilterns,
a not-for-profit event.
With thanks to all the local breweries, our volunteers, the musicians and comedians for their continuing support.
The Beer & Comedy Festival will be open 6-11pm on Friday 25th September and the Beer & Music Festival will be open noon-11pm Saturday 26th September.
Various vendors will be offering a full range of food to suit all tastes including pizza, Mexican, South African street food and gourmet burgers. Vegetarian and vegan options available.
No smoking is permitted in the marquee or club house, but we will proivide a smoking gazebo.
As well as a selection of beer and cider, the Cricket Club bar will be open offering a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Festival cask ale and cider costs £4.00 per pint with halves for £2.00. Craft beer will cost £5 per pint and £3 per half pint. We will operate a cashless/token bar.
Tickets for the Friday Comedy Night are £15 in advance with a small booking fee. Note this event is limited to 250 guests and usually sells out in advance.
Entry for the Saturday Beer & Music Festival is £5 plus a £2 glass deposit. The ticket price covers the set-up and entertainment. Entry is free to CAMRA members before 2pm. Advanced ticket offers are also available. Entry for children is free on Saturday, whereas a full ticket is required for Friday (and we do not recommend it for children).
The festival is not-for-profit and any profits will go to charity or funding and growing further Berkhamsted beer, music and comedy festivals.
The beer festival will be at the Berkhamsted Cricket Club. There is wheelchair access and a disabled toilet.
DOGS AND CHILDREN
Well behaved dogs and children are allowed at the Cricket Club, but not in the marquee during the comedy.
The comedy material is adult in nature so not at all suitable for children. Due to limited space, pushchairs will not be allowed in the marquee or club house. However, we will provide a gazebo buggy park.
There is nearby parking in the Railway Station. Please use public transport if you intend to drink alcohol; the Cricket Club is just 5 minutes walk from the station.
We rely on a team of enthusiastic volunteers to help run our events. Please contact us if you would like to join the team.
